Is Google Making us Stupid?

I came across an article on MSN, and it was talking about how google is possibly making us all stupid.

Now I was thinking to myself as I'm sure you were to that if this really be the case, I'm screwed...

I chose to read the article, and it talked about how the google websight is designed to be destracting, to keep you moving from one thing to the next, and what that theoretically does overtime is shorten our attention span, making it harder for us to concentrate on somthing without our mind wandering, such as googling one thing and having somthing completly random with but one related word in it, and then you check it out and get distracted and do other stuff and, wait, what was I talking about?

Miracle on the Hudson

This now famous Airbus A-320 callsign "Flight-1549", more commonly know as"Miracle on the Hudson", or "The Hudson Plane Crash", made an emergency water landing on the Hudson river back in 2009.

The question that gets asked the most is "Why is this airplane so special?", or "Why is it even in a museum?" Well the answer to that is this incident, considering the fact that there was no pilot error involved, the only thing that brought it down was a freak run in with a flock of geese; and the fact that everyone survived with the airplane mostely intact, was the first real good thing to happen in 2009. In fact even the way the aircraft was landed was a miracle. Captained by Chesely B. Sullenburger, he touched the aircraft down in the water at an 11 degree upward angle. Why is this so special?; Because had he been off by enen one degree up or down and the aircraft would have broken up, which would have resulted in the loss of many of the passengers and crew.

I mean the economy was at an all time low, job employment was a joke, and so many other things were going wrong, this near disaster showed America that miracles can still happen, hence the name up top!

Another question that is frequently asked is why is the airplane in Charlotte, when the incedent happened in New York? Flight-1549 was orgionaly based out of Charlotte Douglas, and was returning from New York at the time of the incident, there for it was logical that the airplane should "complete" its journey.

HELLO WORLD!

In my blog I will mainly be talking about aviation, and on occasion computer related topics, etc. A little bit about myself, Aviation has been a passion for as long as I can remember. I have recently started working on computers, and have a growing collection of vintage computers and computing devices. I also collect vintage electronics and mechanical items made in the U.S.
